Because at the time Two Swords/Do No Harm/Wheels aired, Fern wanted to find his own identity while HW was still interested in Finn. And some anons really wanted Fern to cuck Finn just because "fuck you".

Now Fern is so obssessed in becoming the only Finn on Ooo that he doesn't care about anything anymore. Hell, he didn't even care about HW during Seventeen. He just wanted to fuck Finn's birthday party and cut his head off.

It would pretty much be the same deal, except Breezy would be attracted to Fern's whole body instead just an arm flower. My point boiled down to Fern's qualities grabbing the attention of these two specific females, but Finn's qualities are what made Huntress Wizard stay, and kept Breezy friendly. I wonder of Fern even has that charm still.

Fern never had it because Fern is some scuzzy grass parasite. It's weird to hear people talk about Fern as if he is actually Finn Prime, when Finn Prime is a prisoner in a grass cell.

It wasn't a mistake. The implication was that Fern was Finn's side that was capable of attracting girls. At least for attracting the kind of girls that would be into plants anyhow.

Honestly the last major female interaction Sword Finn had was Bandit Princess, and that was after he became a sword. Before that there's a powergap, and it goes all the way to the events of Breezy, and before that Too Old and the FP debacle. None of the philosophical insights of episodes like Astral Plane, The Comet, and Hall of Egress either.

Thanks! The way I'm interpreting them for my piece is "maximum frustration in drawing the fucking things". I have like 25 individual leaves left to draw, and since I'm a texture/render addict it's going at a snail's pace.

It's hard to even talk about them like they're real things cause when fern died, it's not like there was really a tiny Finn and squid thing mulched up too. I guess the swords just acted as their bodies and those were their minds? Now how they merged and became a being in of itself idk unless the grass demon had some sort of hidden powers cause I doubt the Finn conscious was going anywhere.
I randomly stumbled across the clip of the grass thing cocooning Finn on YT and it looked interesting enough that I watched Islands to see what the deal was, then I realized it wasn't from Islands so Pre-boot and Re-boot it was. ha Till then I hadn't watched AT since maybe 2014 or so? The Flame Princess stuff turned me off, but I've caught up since then now that I watch it regularly again.
