It says that Hunson had JUST killed everyone at the werewolf camp that Marcy wanted to help.

At the time she was trying to reconciliate in her head having meet her father for the first time (and the fact that he was showing her genuine affection and answrrs) with the fact that he killed everyone around her.

It’s ending this season. The series will possibly end on a cliffhanger while they save the real ending for the movie. I’m hoping Gumbald ends up engaging in nuclear war with Bubblegum and they permanently fuck up the planet forever, but then Finn sacrifices himself to save everyone. Finn dies, Gumbald dies, Bubblegum and Marcy goes into outer space to find a new planet, candy kingdom is left to their own devices, Simon and Betty are crazy together. The end.

final few episodes are a generational timeskip of an Adult Finn returning to OOO for Jakes funeral. but then it snaps back and implies that that was a real future vision by a Finn who has just attained final mystic enlightenment in the consideration of a possible self-sacrifice (future vision of how things would go if he DIDN'T, and it's not terrible). his final decision in that moment is left ambiguous.
