>>97082549Whedon liked a tweet that said Steppenwolf was a bad villain... whoa... somebody call for a congressional hearing on this shit.
He was brought in, the suits wanted it cut down to 2 hours, so a lot of it had to end up on the cutting room floor.
Whedon's been pretty silent on the whole thing to the best of my knowledge... if I'm wrong and he has publicly said anything bad about Snyder, I'll be glad to admit I'm wrong.
Also, both Ezra Miller and Gal Gadot have both said that the lightening of the mood in JL was something that ZACK SNYDER had planned.
"Zack from the time that I first met with him said, 'Look, Batman makes the DC world dark. The DC world has to be created as something dark,'" Ezra explained. "He said what's great now is that the League gets to bring Batman out of this darkness. That was always Zack's vision. That was the intention from the beginning."
The producer Charles Roven said "Let's just say 80, 85% of the movie is what was originally shot. There's only so much you can do with other 15, 20% of the movie."
Blame Whedon all you want, but the movie is Snyder's.
