Why are you surprised that something that just came out is getting talked about a lot when the same happened with Samurai Jack (which people complained about too), Rick and Morty (which people complained about too), or whenever Marvel does something silly pertaining to their comics only pertaining to the most recent happenings.
Why are you pretending that the internet as a whole changing hasn't brought this kind of shitposting, to the point that "shitposting" is even such a common word now, by trying to blame one thing in particular?
