However, this does make it possible for many fictional characters to be able to defeat Stardust if only they could become immune to his rays somehow. How exactly the aliens did it wasn't explained, but it is possible. And once a character has accomplished that, Stardust is still somewhat formidable as a freakishly huge flying super wizard whose super magic would still work on other things including himself, and could summon outside help like in
>>96877586, and he is apparently a good enough fighter to take on an alien invasion with his bare fists, but he would be far from the omnipotent cosmic horror his rays make him. If Fate or Strange can't recreate what those aliens did, they might still be able to use some kind of magic to make them rayproof.
There are many characters who couldn't withstand those rays but could defeat a super wizard like I described above. There is still hope.
