A team up just isn't that special anymore. Marvel took the cherry. JL is just this weeks lay after the club, albeit one that is massively attractive and the highlight of the year. But you can only uncork a bottle once.
As long as JL does well financially, we'll keep on trucking, and I'm sure it will. I'm just going to go and enjoy the movie with my little brother, and then check the box office in a month or so to see if the DCEU has a decent chance at continuing.
Hopefully the critics once again shitting on it will make WB realize they just can't win critically, and let the directors do what they feel is best for the movies. They are fucked if they do and fucked if they don't.
