>>96417660Is it wrong that I feel bad for the guy?
Like I genuinely think he has some flavour of Stockholm syndrome or something regarding women kind.
He goes to a place, the no-name women there know that a guy people don't like talked with them, come up with some hyperbolic version of their interractions, and go cry on the internet about how this person who is more famous than then harassed them to get some easy attention.
(Don't get me wrong, not only women do this in my experience, men just generally do it with different topics.)And when it happens, what is Dobson's reaction?
He can't process it.
Some mental block just kicks in, and does not allow him to accept that some women are just shitty people just like any other demographic.
No, them being pieces of shit to him has to have some sort of excuse. It can't be those women's fault. No, they had to have genuinely have felt threatened by this random fucking guy probably wearing a fedora whose identity everybody knows, in the middle of a public convention surrounded by crowds of people and security.
Yes, it must have been that. They felt threatened. And they must have felt threatened because of the other demographic, because of men, who are not women.
But somewhere he knows this is a fucked up way of thinking, and it hurts him to think this way, so he just comes to the conclusion that he never wants to think about this ever again, so the only solution is to cut himself off from the world even more by not going to comic conventions.
Like my god, he feels like he's been in perpetual need of a hug since he was 5 years old.
