>>96393363That's the kind of defense someone working for Marvel would make. Nice job pretending you aren't by taking a jab at Slott, but no one's buying it.
>"8 fucking stores" is not the state of the market! It's actually 21 stores.
Graham Crackers Comics – 11 locations throughout Illinois/Wisconsin
Comix Experience, San Francisco, California
Comix Experience Outpost, San Francisco, California
Fat Jack’s Comicrypt of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Rodman Comics of Ankeny, Iowa
Dr. No’s Comics & Games Superstore of Marietta, Georgia
Ssalefish Comics Winston-Salem – North Carolina
Big Planet Comics – 4 stores in the Washington DC area
Also you seem clueless about how this actually works. If the list were just "stores in California" or "stores in Texas" then maybe you'd have a point. But going by that list it's very spread out. Also if it were just one to three stores saying "Marvel titles are doing worse than DCs" but the others aren't, then maybe it's just outliers. But if most of those stores are saying Marvel's not performing well, then it's something to look into.
On top of that there are other retailers that don't report to Rich, that are saying the same thing, like Ryan Higgins of Comics Conspiracy or Big Bang Comics in Ireland. And that's not even getting into other retailers who reply to them on Twitter like Pittsburgh Comics. Or those Secret Empire articles on CBR or Newsarama where they talk to other retailers that don't talk to Rich or the retailers on Twitter.
Remember when people were trying to dismiss this poll by saying it might've been affected by bots? Yeah, how did Marvel Now 2 turn out?
