What's some of the weird shit that happened in comics that you were convinced was going to be a throw-away plot point, joke, whatever. As soon as the story was over, everything was going to go back to normal or the next writer would just straight up ignore it and it would disappear in the annals of canon.
I'll start with probably an easy one: Vampire Jubilee. Fuck, Vampire Mom Jubilee. Who thought either of those things would stick? And, they're actually both pretty great.
