>>96048120It's a martial art thing, trust me on this you build muscle memory and start to perform stuff even without thinking it been practicing wrestling and Aikido since I was six and I can pin someone down in basically a leg swipe and an elbow trust.
It's scary when you think how easy it is to end a battle with just a single reactionary movement, however if people saw me pulling that off they would know a hit on the chest breaks that move and forces your static leg to take the hit of your entire body weight thus making your stance unbalanced as fuck.
If someone sees you perform a technique before it becomes easier to avoid or predict, I remember my good old tournaments back in high school seeing wich stance or wich leg was the preferred one in the first rounds was enough for you to decide how to start the fight.
Heck I even lost to a guy mid regionals because the bastard got my exposed elbow and pinned me down.
I have won every bar fight I have been in outside of that bastard that hit me with a chair, however when two folks are battling on even grounds knowing how the other attacks beforehand gives you an insane advantage. I don't know if I explained it well though.
In a mind reader scenario wide attacks that can't be dodged are their weakness as even with bullshit powers they still take a hit, make them continuos coming from a determinator and you got a recipe for disaster coming straight at the mind reader face, also muscle memory can act before you even think wich sends mind readers into BTFO territory.
