Blade Runner was so fucking boring and up it's own ass. They could've cut like 40 fucking minutes out by removing the sequel bate about a Replicant revolution and The Joker.

It wasn't Ridley Scott making the movie. If he WAS, it would've spent the entire film establishing that Deckard is definitely a replicant and making pointless retcons, topped off by a reveal that Jesus Christ was a replicant. Also, all the characters would act like retards.

And instead of a K and Joi, we would've gotten an awkward plot about Deckard and Rachel, with Adam and Eve comparions being drawn so blatantly it'd not even be funny. And it'd take over way too much of the film's focus

I liked it. I'm a sucker for time loop stories to begin with, though. The dialogue was a little clunky, especially in the last part and there was a one scene that was clearly from an earlier draft that had nothing to do with anything

Minor non-vital spoiler about it:
She goes to the hospital as a result of the accumulated trauma of her murders. A doctor points out that the damage to her body in indicative of what should be fatal injuries. The implication is that being killed over and over is having a deleterious effect on her, which means she needs break out of the loop or risk being debilitated by the results of her repeated deaths. However, it's not brought up again and nothing comes of it.

I think she thought she had to solve her own murder to stop the loop. It wasn't until the last minute that she figured out that wasn't necessary, but she was too pissed about dying so often to just stop there.

She decided early on that she needed to solve the murder in order to stop the resets instead of just preventing it, so she needed to stick around to figure out who the murderer was. Besides, if she ran away without finding the murderer, then they’d still be around to track her down and probably murder her a different day. She does still think to try to skip town in one of the timelines, but she doesn’t get around to it and has decided on a different plan by the next time.

The world-building shots took too long. Like there were moments where the camera just panned over the cityscape for minutes without adding much to the plot. I'm guessing it was to show to uniformity but they could've gone over that with a bird's eye shot that zooms in to the ground level.
