Harmon just caught shit for whining about McDonald's doing the sauce thing without asking them first. And when people pointed out that they had no obligation to get their permission to sell their own product that R&M merely joked about, he went on a tirade and suggested that people who were too ignorant to get his joke are similarly too ignorant to not have to work for slavedrivers at McDonald's. Later he did damage control, saying how anybody who knows him knows he's pro-worker , and "I've doubted women and been less than professional, but you don't always have to monster hunt, but y'know keep hunting monsters, but it's not always about that, but..."
Everyone's shit doesn't stink until someone finds their soiled laundry. Dunham literally called herself a predator when describing how she would trick her younger sibling into playing sex related games. Amy Schumer used to steal stuff from department stores with her sister to resell and got off with a wrist slap because her uncle is a senator. She later had a story in her routine describing trying to get a guy's junk hard while he was drunk and basically passed out i.e. rape, and people made excuses for it, including a Cracked writer who suggested that SHE was the victim because there was pressure on her as the woman to make sure the sex was good (right after he admitted to having a crush on her, and that was the day I stopped reading Cracked entirely.)
Heck, I remember Hirsch and Roiland getting drunk with their girlfriends and Roiland's girl ended up doodling porn of Mabel and put it on twitter (I think it's still there even.) It's a really goofy doodle, not at all detailed, that ideally somebody would laugh at instead of be offended by. But still, it only takes one incident.
