>Could another live-action Scooby-Doo feature film be in the works but this time only focusing on the ladies of the gang Daphne & Velma? A recent casting call went out from CastingAbout.com looking for their leading ladies Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley. The tweet also claims that former Disney Channel star and singer Ashley Tisdale will be producing the film.

Somehow Tisdale kept her sanity as a Disney girl.

Not him but what makes it look like live action for me is that Grey Griffin has been voicing Daphne for a long time now and there's no reason for them to be recasting Daphne's role as far as voices are concerned.

I remember I was really excited for that one for some inexplicable reason when the 7 network was going to show it in a big event. I was at my grandpas and he had some other thing he wanted to watch instead though.

I hope it's about Daphne learning medical science and coroner skills. I realise for the next show it would be very odd for her to just suddenly be the medic/coroner of the team to suit the escalated needs of the gang i.e. treating gunshot wounds and performing autopsies, but if there was some kind of backstory in a miniseries it would fit the mythos, right?

She's working on Young and Hungry now, which is a relatively fun sitcom with three hot chicks on it (including the voice of Elena of Avalor). I'm actually optimistic about her producing this project.
