>>95752901That depends on whether you're going for an evocation or Halloween or just fall in General. One of the first things I watched was Scary Godmother, just because it's nostalgic, so bad it's good, and just so generically Halloween-y but with it's own twists. Always a good way to start the Halloween season. I also watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein, because while not specifically about Halloween, it's got a spooky flare. King of the Hill's first special, Hilloween, is also a good one because it's actually about relaying the nostalgia of Fall and Halloween; mostly.
The Laika films are another good starting point, because they've got that spooky atmosphere but with a lot of muted colors, giving it a cool vibe that meshes really well with fall. There's also the traditional Great Pumpkin, but that's such a classic it's probably better saved for later in the Holiday.
Some of the /co/ Specials I'm looking forward to watching are
Tiny Toons - The Night Ghoulery
Billy and Mandy's Jacked up Halloween
Angry Beavers - The Day the World Got Really Screwed Up
Hey Arnold - Arnold's Halloween
Doug - Doug's Halloween Adventure
Ed, Edd, n Eddy's Boo Haw Haw
Garfield's Halloween Adventure
Scooby-Doo Ghoul School and Scooby-Doo Zombie Island (and well, Just Scooby-Doo specials in general)
Chalkzone - Pumpkin Love
Rugrats Halloween Specials
And some non /co/ stuff
Don't Look Under the Bed
Can of Worms
Tower of Terror
Crybaby Lane
Beetlejuice
The Addams Family Movies
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark
There's also just some good Spooky Shows like Goosebumps, The Addams Family, the Munsters, Beetlejuice:TAS, Scooby-Doo, and etc.
There's a lot more good stuff, but that seems like a good starting point. I've got like 60 gigs of Halloween Specials and Spooky shows so far, not including regular Horror Movies, so I've got a lot to pick from, thankfully. There's just so much wonderful content. But hopefully this gives you some stuff to look into.
