If you're there to better yourself, learn something new or just get a new lease on life, then there is no age that is "too old".
Also, don't focus too much on what you "should be" doing. You "should be" making sure that when you take a shit, you take it in a ceramic ceremonial bowl we've perfected and automated over the course of centuries. There's so many pathological "shoulds" and "shouldn't"-s in the human psyche that are completely removed from nature that it's ridiculous. A lot of it is useful (you really don't want to shit anywhere outside a toilet) but a lot of it is only there because of tradition or soceital expectations.
Find something you can enjoy in your free time. Try competitive chess, or try and get a fishing license. It might just be that I come from a country of fishermen, but it's a great way to relax, meet people and get some good air, all in one. Might work for you.
