Though it is funny how for years Hickman-fags have been saying that Hickman and the artist had already finished it but Marvel was hoarding it for whatever reason.

The Marvel method. Writer gives artist a plot outline, artist draws it, writer then writes dialogue.

But... that's exactly the case. Weaver said he submitted the finished art in early August of 2015. Hickman said that he was finishing up the dialogue and that it should be released in September of 2015. Which, by the by, Brevoort confirmed was the case.

So yes, the issues have been done and they've been holding onto it since then. Which is why taking Brevoort at his word about the fact that "it's totally going to get released this time" is stupid because he made the exact same statements over 2 years ago.

Until the issues are actually solicited, he's just continuing the ruse.
