One of the reasons that Valentino's era was probably the best, was the futuristic setting. There are several writers (who will remain nameless) who think Marvel pissed away Wolverine's popularity and that if they bring him back in the right way, they can remind people why they love him and bring him back to huge acclaim like DC did with Pre-52 Superman and Lois.

The idea would be to officially make them a couple and spin-out them, possibly as the heart of a new Fantastic Four book, with Human Torch and Thing. Since they have broken up Jean/Scott and moved Scott on to Emma, there is the thought that there is no real downside of not doing Jean/Logan, since the Scott/Emma 'ship has proven to have legs to allow Marvel to go in that direction at long last.

While Mercs For Money has failed spin-off wise, there has been talks about doing a Punisher vs Deadpool mini-series where Punisher ends up having to assemble his own crew of vigilantes and mercs to go against Deadpool and his subordinates.

Thunderbolts is on the bubble and most likely will be canceled once Hydra War ends. The only reason it's still being published and not stealth canceled, is due to Spencer repeatedly stating the book will serve a major purpose in Hydra War, presumably where Zemo's part of the storyline will take place.

Talks had started with IDW to reprint Micronauts and ROM but the current spat over Hasbro trying to claim ownership of the Dire Wraiths, has screwed things up. Rumor is, Marvel has offered to donate the bulk of the profits they'd make off of hypothetical ROM/Micronaut TPBs to Bill Mantlo.

You know i never thought i would be saying this but if having bendis writing the fantastic four is the price we have to pay to get the book back then so be it. At least he seems to like the characters so maybe he won't completely fuck it up i mean he'll fuck it up but hopefully not completely.

I think it depends on how long he stays on the book. The longer Bendis is on that series, the more chance there is of him wanting to "leave a legacy" which means an OC, a death or a break-up.
