I'm honestly surprised by how many people enjoy the post-school episodes. I just really wasn't able to appreciate them.

I used to pretend that the meaner episodes didn't exist, the ones where Eddy was just a gigantic prick to Ed and Double D, but I came to appreciate them later on because it makes their character development in the movie that much sweeter.

The Heartfelt moments between the Eds in the movie felt really unorganic (unlike the friendship moments in Catdog or Angry Beavers)

I had a hard time getting over how empty the episodes felt. Not content or emotionally wise, but physically, there was only the dozen kids that went to that whole school.
