This is pretty much a rule in cartoons and a lots of live action comedies but what if the roles were reversed? Could a cartoon where dad/husband is smart, /fit/ and competent and the mom/wife is incompetent and stupid works? Is there any example? I can only think in Bob Pataki and Miriam from Arnold but they were not main characters.
