>no differences have been found in men and women's IQs1) This isn't true, as you look at higher and higher IQs the proportion of males increases.
2) IQ tests are designed to give equal average results to men and women. That's part of the design criteria, not of the findings. They select questions and weight answers until they come up with the same average from their weighting sample (the people they test before they decide how to score the test).
3) Despite trying to design the tests to give equal average results, typically the male average ends up being a few points higher in the general population.
4) IQs are test scores, not perfect objective measurements. The actual scores people get don't depend purely on capabilities, but also willingness to cooperate and caring about doing well. Females are more submissive and eager to please authority figures, males are more rebellious and dismissive of other people's judgements of them. If ability were equal, you'd expect girls to do considerably better than boys simply due to the compliance factor, as is seen in unchallenging courses at school.
Anyone involved in measuring intelligence will tell you that there are clear differences between the sexes, for instance: the dramatic male superiority in spacial reasoning. They have to design the tests so differences in spacial reasoning has little effect on most of the scores, despite being of great practical significance in the real world.
IQ is not the only measure of intelligence, it's just the most public and politically-correct one. If you get your intelligence tested, you'll get multiple scores on specific aspects, not just IQ. The gender-balanced IQ score is a shield intelligence researchers can hide behind so they can work without feminists screeching the walls down around them.
