The thing is, it's not a necessary evil, it simply is. Throughout all of history this repeats itself time and time again, cannibalization for survival that continually and progressively abstracts. Our origins as a species was that of infanticide and pedophilic rape. Even now in America, the human trafficking of children is a legitimate part of life people refuse to acknowledge beyond conspiracy, refusing to see it happen in the streets around them. We simply have not changed, we've simply abstracted from our basic starting point.
The truth of human nature is that we are evil, and that is good, because if we were not evil, we would be dead. We are capable of goodness and high culture, and we are capable of abomination. The only truth is the acceptance of that duality. Morality doesn't exist, it never did. Not objective or relative, simply pragmatic and utilitarian on how the subconscious decides the conscious should soothe itself beyond the actions it has taken.
Humanity is an animal like all others. Don't deny yourself, don't lie, accept the evil with the good and do what is your only true directive as a human being, and cannibalize.
