>>95284892>>95284899>>95284910Why can't lefty fucks every recognize that people enjoy things they enjoy and don't have the same political opinions? ***Because people don't have actual political opinions, they have cultural preferences they confuse for political opinions.*** So they don't like people liking [the thing] they like, that like things they DONT like, because they don't want to be associated with THOSE PEOPLE OVER THERE.
>PEOPLE WHO DONT THINK 100% WHAT I THINK LIKE SOMETHING I LIKE AND THAT MEANS I CANT LIKE IT BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT THINK IM ONE OF OTHER PEOPLE! That's the conversation we're having right now. This could be solved by developing actual political views, separated from cultural preferences. Being an individual instead of a passive conformist. This needs to happen with Marvel because their writers are making this mistake too, thinking that because people enjoy the same entertainment, they must all have the same exact views on everything else. So they end up creating de-facto political propaganda instead of art. This ends up turning off parts of the audience and that's really not good for business as their sales reflect.
Again, it's not really about politics but about a social clique trying to exclusively cater to itself.
>>95284860 I wanted to use OP's pic here because Gwenpool a good example of this. Were they trying to make a good character or trying to give girls something to cosplay as, like Spider-Gwen? It seems that way. Gwenpool is literally smashing together the two characters that are popular in the movies. That's a direct catering to some secondary social groups demographic.
