>>94915748>Constant surface-level Star Wars referencesThis is when you know a geek girl is full of shit. Most gamer girls only use nerd cred as a way to pretend they "aren't like the other girls". So, they latch onto any entry-level flick that's barely nerdy enough to seem smart yet still easy to get into without much effort. This is why they resort to easy targets like Star Wars (but not the EU, god forbid they do some research), Harry Potter, the MCU, or Pokemon (but they barely even play the games). I have never once seen a "gamer gurl" be interested in anything like Warhammer 40k, MTG, or anything that would require the slightest bit of effort. Additionally, when they do enter these hobbies, they always demand that the franchise change for their delicate sensibilities. They demand constant "oppressed group of the week" representation, they make fun of the dedicated fans, and if anyone opposes them, they're labelled a sexist. So they go around casualizing franchises, marginalizing the fanbase, and throw tantrums just so chad won't think they're a basic bitch. Ironically, the fact that they went to all this trouble for dick shows that they really are no better than the roasties they hate.
I know this rant was rather long-winded, but these "NERD GUUUURL!" types really piss me off.
>inb4 femanons say "not all girls"Yes, I know it's not ALL girls, but it's definitely a significant portion of the community.
