It really is that simple, because they bitched that it was a men written series, then they added women, and women watched it. The quality doesn't matter here because they just wanted a woman writing it to watch it so logic is out the window anyway.

extended wait, adept marketing =/= content

hell premiere was basically an extended advertisement for season 3, ontop of the already lengthy wait.

It was genius marketing all around. Content wise it will be put behind other seasons when all is said and done.

Harmon did something similar with Community.

and IMBd votes are nothing for evidence, as it covers a very specific part of people, not everyone votes/those who do go there just because they like the series anyway and that gets the limited viewpoint of fans rather than people that can critique
