Actually, the DCU is decidedly more female than the MU, in both movies and comics. I mean, Man of Steel was about the literal and metaphorical birth of THE Superhero, while Iron Man was about a man who created a machine so powerful it not only saved him, but redeemed him. Organic vs Artificial, Female vs Male.
In the comics, the DCU was often represented in its totality by a being named Kismet, like when she was banging Eternity in that one Avengers/JLA crossover. Not to mention all the feminine terminology in the DCU, what with the Bleed and Ultramenstruum being the lifeblood of various universes. Going off of Hickman's Avengers run, there's a lot more machinery references, with "THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN THE WHITE EVENT" and all that shit.
