It's ironic, because that's the problem with Miles -- he's marketed as the black Spider-Man when what he /needs/ is to be marketed as something separate and unique. Unfortunately, they think having him be of color is unique enough, but that's simply not true. Being unique is being different, and Miles is too boring to be different.
