You can attribute this to charging more for their books, incentive variant covers, or flooding the market with books, all of which are certainly major factors in their retail share being as high as it is despite the overships, but they still make the most money of any of the publishers.
At least in floppies. Marvel does piss poor in trades compared to Image and, to a lesser extent, DC.
