1. Put comics in a sleeve that you can purchase at any comic book store, or online
2. don't store them in a cardboard box or anything that isn't water proof.
3. Ideal storage should be in large plastic containers
4. Don't leave your comics in the basement or the attic.
5. Stop blaming your landlord for your idiot decision to improperly store your comics.
