It's ridiculous that we can't even talk about the first 2D animated movie out of the west to get a theatrical release without having to be all subtle about it.
I mean, to be honest, the show's popularity has died down considerably and are there really that many people who still hate it after 7 entire years that it couldn't be allowed back on /co/ at least.
Regardless on whether or not people hate it, this show has had an enormous impact on the landscape of western animation over the last 7 years and after this movie that impact will only get bigger as it's success or failure will play a part in whether other companies might consider making movies based on their popular cartoon shows. It's annoying not being able to talk about it because of a bunch of retarded shitposting and asshurt that happened years ago.
