But then again, if the argument is that only merchandise matters, and comics are too small to give a shit, it's really strange that marvel has too put so much resources in their comic book division, because even if it gives shitty results, it still requires a lot of work.
What actually is weird, is that IDW is publishing Disney comics, instead of marvel. It's like Disney itself didn't want marvel touch their properties. I wouldn't be surprised if Star Wars comics became a separate company
