It's funny how I've always been hit with that same insult whenever I try to argue against this movie. Yet every anon I argue with has a different interpretation of this movie.

Audiences don't "get it" because there is nothing to get. The movie doesn't know what it wants to be and it's autistic fanbase makes it all the more clear.

You can like the movie and it not be super deep, its a bad movie and its ok to like them. Pretending that it was super deep and smarter than the critics just makes you look like an idiot.

The people that defend these movies are like the people who like traps and refuse to admit that they are gay. If you like penises than that's ok, but pretending that just because it looks like a female doesn't make it gay is stupid.

Liking a bad movie is your preference, all taste is preference. Just don't pretend that the bad movie was too deep for critics to get because it wasn't.

It's too late here for me to argue about it yet another time, but I wince everytime someone complains about most character's motivations saying they don't make sense. It does and everything is in the dialog, it's just not said with "Oh I am so angry at Superman because X". It's not crystal clear, but it's still all pretty obvious.

BvS is a 6.5/10 at best, but still a 5 at worst.
