I feel like somewhere along the line people (including the storyboarders) forgot what made Lapidot so appealing.

It was a crackship because Peridot was a straightman (played up to exaggerated lengths) and Lapis was a mentally unstable spiritually broken water witch.

Now that Peridot's a wacky dorito gremlin and Lapis is a snarky autist the dynamic's swapped, and these new character archetypes don't really ship as well with each other. Lapiven is weirdly BETTER now, and Peridot's just... ugh. Why couldn't we have bitter middleman employee Peridot, or unstable saturday morning cartoon villain Peridot, or my little nerdy gem sister can't be this cute Peridot?

So, this was teased at the very start, then completely forgotten, followed by an episode where something forced them to love each other, and lastly the relationship just turned into a plot point.

Most of the time Katara was a big sister/mother figure to Aang. This ship deserves to be forgotten.

Anyone that thinks HarleyxIvy is good should eat rat turds. Neither of them have a trait the other would realistically like. It's pretty much DC going "LOOK HOW PROGRESSIVE WE ARE! LESBIANS!"

Here's a thought, and this goes for Marvel as well who have been trying to push "YOUR FAV HEROES BUT WITH TITS!" to appeal to female comic readers.

Make a original character and write them well. Make a female character that is likeable and unique and push them hard without drawing attention to the fact that they are female.
Make a gay character that is also new and well written, except instead of their homosexuality being a major thing, make it just a detail. One issue, have them mention their sexual orientation and instead of another character be like "OMG!?!? YOU'RE A GAAAAAAAY!" or have other characters of the same sex start thinking about it all the fucking time, just have everyone react like "Ah. K" like a normal fucking human being.

MJ was an annoying twit whose motivation behind every stage of their relationship, from pursuing the lonesome nerd boy she got set up with that she was way out of the league of, to staying with him when he accused her of being too shallow to understand his grief at the death of Gwen, to the retcon that she'd always known he was Spider-Man but waited for him to tell her himself, to getting increasingly chaffed at his superhero lifestyle and pressuring him to settle down and start a family, all motivated by an irrational fear of not being special enough. She dated the nerd because he treated her like the most special person he ever met, because all the suitors in the same league as her knew she had nothing going for her other than her looks. She stuck around when Gwen died because Peter implied she wasn't special enough to stick around and she needed to prove him wrong. The retcon made it that she only was interested in Peter in the first place because she wanted to be the only girl special enough for Spider-Man to trust with his secret identity. Their marriage was constantly on the rocks because the longer she watched Peter risk life and limb every night the more she felt not only is she not special enough to share in that lifestyle with her husband, she is not and never will be special enough for Peter to choose to give up his superheroing for the sake of. Because as we've seen across continuity the only person special enough to motivate Peter to quit, and to stick with it, is his own children.

I'm sick of writers and fans alike acting like one of these two annoying bints are the only choices for Peter's romantic endgame and nobody else is even capable of being sincere in liking him.

The shippers seem a bit obnoxious and they all seem to twist both characters into some diluted ooc au versions (because it absolutely wouldn't work with how they are in canon, their personalities and characterisations clash wayyy too much)

In general I loathe ships that don't respect who the characters are in canon, but instead rely on twisting them into different people in order for the ship to be feasible. If you have to change the core personality, characteristics, sexuality or such of the character away from canon for the ship to work, it's a shit ship.

While I agree with most of those, namely Cap/Bucky and Spideypool because I hate those ships, Supes and Batman is one of those ships more based on possibilities than actual canon interactions. I've never seen a Superbat shipper who legitimately thinks they're gay, they only think it'd be great if they were and that they could be great together, whereas most of the other gay ships you mentioned and most other gay ships in general have a large following of fujoshits who legitimately think they're gay because of """'subtext'""", such is the case with Cap and Bucky.
