Grodd is definitely the worst sidekick I've had so far. Especially against a Rusher like Flash. I may have only gotten lucky, but I also played super defensively and punished. It was a huge tactic change for me because I rarely play that way in fighters.

So, I keep seeing people trying to guess the sillhouettes and giving tons of different weird answers for the tall one besides Manta.

Is it weird that I looked at it and immediately thought it was an Injustice style Reptile?
I mean, that head shape doesn't look human with all the bumps to it, but the body is too lanky/thin to be someone like Killer Croc or Etrigan.
I can't think of any DC characters that have a lumpy, inhuman face and a thin build.
And if it was Reptile, then that'd mean that each DLC Pack has 1 MK character in it. Not saying that is a good idea but it would at least make sense for them to do. It'd even fit as Subzero's on the left of his pack, Raiden's in the middle of his, and this possible Reptile would be on the right of his pack.

I'm sure we're getting a lot of live action stuff; like Gal's Wonder Woman next week. They already have BvS Superman in the mobile app, so only a matter of time before it gets brought over to the console version. I'm sure they'll ask Rocksteady for BvS Batman, as well.

They'll probably bring us skins from Arrow/Flash, like they did with mobile. Arkham stuff is also a good bet. I hope we see some Rebirth stuff as well.

iirc, the Injustice 1 mobile app had both BvS Batman and Wells Flash, so it's highly possible. And a very good way to add recycled content without people getting up in arms since it was never on the console version. I just hope NRM doesn't do what they did with Injustice 1 and push everything out and then move on, I hate that shit. If they had kept pumping out content for the first game, I'd have kept buying it.

You have to do them fast and don't worry about what's coming out on screen.

The problem people have is they try to press with the visual aid of the animation on the screen. Wrong way to do it. You just dial it in perfectly. Ivy will execute after. So your Ivy might still be doing the first punch or two when you're finished inputting. It feels weird because most other characters the visual feedback works.

Shazam played completely different than Adam in Injustice 1 and I'd welcome his return, or a different person taking the role of Shazam, since Billy is dead. Bizarro is a neat skin idea, but having frost vision and heat breathe kind of rule him out, nor would I want another Kryptonian, even though I dug Zod in Injustice 1.

Shazam, Martian Manhunter, and Sinestro deserve a return. Maybe Grundy as well.

Cheetah and Vixen work because Vixen is usually shown using a cat animal. But she isn't like normal Vixen because she doesn't have full access to all the animals of the totem. Catman would have been a better pick for a Cheetah premier.

Shazam being a premier would be shitty, since he already has a basic move list to build on, and shouldn't be wasted as a skin. Bizarro is a nice thought, but I wouldn't want him as a skin because of the inherent differences between him and Supes and nor would I want him as a separate character.

In the end it depends on whether they think a Blackfire premier would be worth the money, since premiers obviously cost more to make than regular old fashion skins.

That was a reasonable decision given how awful the costume was. The goggles, the beard, the chaps...Nothing about it implies military general or warrior/soldier. The MoS skin was superior in every way. And I've yet to see a respectable Zod player use the original skin.

Multiverse seems like the logical next step. Either story ending would just be another retread with the bad ending being a redo of the first game with Supergirl instead of Bats or Batman's ending being a retread of this with another new threat that requires a temporary alliance with Superman to beat. It's a good excuse for weird character choices, oddball costumes/gear and banter and they can add whoever the fuck they want without having to justify anything for dead or incapacitated characters.

They are overly reliant on their cannon blast as a mid-screen/full-screen check.

BB is a character that needs to go from 0 to 60, but too many people who play him are way too hesitant to commit.

I'm too reliant on the cannon for fullscreen trades myself. It is a crutch.

You two ever consider how many martial arts characters there are in this game against how many gun characters are in this game? There's some weird dissonance where all guns must be the same but all punchy character are different and accepted.

Deadshot using rifles and elemental wrist shots is not the same as rapidfire gunkata

And he's nearly ALWAYS depicted with his dual handguns because a big aspect to his character is doing things the OPPOSITE of the way Bruce does.
