Some of the death battles are obvious, but others can really go either way.
Like, you go into Boba Fett vs Samus thinking "Wow, Boba is going to fucking die" because Samus so greatly outclasses him in every conceivable way.
But then you see shit that could genuinely go in either fighter's favor depending on the circumstances, like Batman vs Captain America, or Chun-Li vs Mai.
Even beyond that, you have some that are so fucking out there and wrong than you wonder if they even did any of that research they claim to do, like with Wonder Woman vs Rogue and Link vs Cloud.
And then sometimes, they're just completely fucking petty.
Like how Yang won in Yang vs Tifa because Screwattack wanted to help promote their sister company's Final Fantasy fan fiction show.
Or how Michelangelo got instagibbed in the TMNT 4way because Ben Singer has some kind of hate boner for nunchaku and can't understand how they exist as a weapon.
Or how Master Chief defeated Doomguy because everyone under the Fullscreen banner down in Austin is a massive Halo fag.
