here's the first episode, and the channel has every episode.
The tone does not stay as grim as the first episodes would have you think. I'd rate the season as a whole 9/10, get out of here before someone spoils it for you

Episodes 1-3: Incredible, easy 9/10s, if not perfect 10s each of them
Episodes 4-7: Pacing sorta gets a little awkward. I still like em. 7.5/10s for me
Episode 8: Better pacing, you may or may not like what it focuses on, though.

Because I really enjoyed the intensity of the first 3 episodes, Enjoyed the character development of all of the following episodes, and I LOVED the cheesiness of the newest episode

Don't get into the meme that the show gets weaker after Ep 3. It gets weaker after Ep. 4. It's just that there was that fucking RaM prank between 3 and 4 and it kinda split the fandom.

Rick and morty aired their season 3 premiere on repeat all night on adult swim for april fools, this replaced the airings of a new samurai jack and a new dragon ball episode, so now we are all a week behind schedule

On April Fools Day, they showed the first episode of the next season of Rick and Morty. All fucking night on repeat. It replaced the episode of Samurai Jack that would've aired that night otherwise. People were not pleased.

Oh, yeah. I remember that. Just didn't pick up on the acronym.

Yeah, I was kind of pissed of by that. But, that was a good RaM episode. I just recently picked up the show, after the April Fools prank, but not because of it. Not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I watched it as I was pissed off that I was missing out on Samurai Jack.

I had just given the show a try the previous week, and decided I didn't like it, but as long as I wasn't forced to watch it or it didn't prevent me from enjoying something I did like, I wouldn't care too much if people like it.

Yeah the series is absolutely amazing in the first five eps, the rest of the episodes feel pretty much like your normal SJ episode
