"Time went on, and Winnie had found refuge at the Grimwood Academy for Ghouls. She’d grown more accustomed to her cursed body, and had become one of the Academy’s best athletes (though her actual grades could use more improvement). She still has trouble keeping her emotions and boundless energy, and as such has developed a reputation for acting out in class.
It had been one year since “the incident”. It was the middle of the winter semester, and the sky seemed grey-er than usual. Winnie had never gotten over what had happened. She stared out the window as the teacher made an announcement.
“We have a new student today, class. Please miss, if you could introduce yourself.”
Winnie didn’t care. She sat caught up in thought, remembering how she held her friend Fanny’s limp body, covered head to toe with cuts and claw marks. Winnie sighed, and turned to the new girl at the front of the room.
“Wahahhhahhhahahaha, Phanty! You can call me Phanty! Phantasma’s a mouthful, heheh, thats what she said! Wahahhahahaa!”
It was her. Winnie was sure of it. That hair. Those boots. That laugh and terrible joke. This blue specter was Fanny.
“I don’t really know how I got here, or where I came from, hahahhaha! But really, who cares about all that anyway? Lets have fun this year!”
Phantasma made her way to the back of the class. As she took her seat at the desk next to Winnie’s, she smiled at the shocked Werewolf.
“Looks like we’re gonna be neighbors! Great to meet you!”
Winnie was speechless. Did she not remember anything?"
