>>91671298Even 'indie' animation takes a lot of time and effort, and doesn't get the "viewership" it used to in the Newgrounds/flash video days. People will do it for the love of it, but it's hard to make money off of it, so that makes it a hobby, which limits how much it really CAN be done, since they still need a day job to pay bills.
On the flip side, it's really easy for an 'established personality' to make money off of lets-plays, at a fraction of the time and effort of animation.
