They reused Yumi falling out of the virtualization chamber and slamming her fist in the ground, to a point where you knew the fist was coming once you saw the face.
Padding's still rampant though. 60 episodes in and we still need to see them spend 30-60 seconds running through the same sewers/factory. Same goes, more or less, for the virtualization sequence.
I can't think of a concrete example off the top of my head, but season 1 and 2 had quite a few cases of "hey, wait a second..."
There's moodswings and then there's going from best friends forever to almost mortal enemies at the drop of a hat.
Maybe not the best example, but take Xanas Kiss. They know Xana is a crafty motherfucker and none of them has any reason to willfully shit on the others, yet they still barely kill each other.
Another example would be the cell-degen plot. Obviously Jeremy couldn't have known, yet they all go from BFFs to full on hate in a split second.
