I mean, being gentle, I watched the 1st movie dubbed and it's barely remarkble.The movies get better as they go on, at least in terms of animation quality. Leyenda de La Chupacabra isn't exactly Cobbler and the Thief tier, but it's animation is way better than the first movie. And it's had four (soon to be five) movies, so maybe it's one of the more well known of the Mexican cartoons?
I heard Netflix had been wanted to get more Latino viewers too. Plus, even if the execution is flawed in the movies, the premise of a kid and his colorful sidekicks exploring the world and fighting monsters is an interesting one.
