Believe it or not, they actually owe very little allegiance to Emma and could just leave her to her fate, shared conscience clean.
But they can go with her and make sure she doesn't go too far off the rails.
Or... they are old enough now to make it on their own in civilian life and not have to deal with any of this.
And it's not as if the X-Men will cast them out for what their clone-donor did.
(in the past they never really blamed anyone for what their evil clones did)
So being X-Men is still an option.
