What made them such great villains /co/? Was it the fact that they were villain archetypes? Was it their sheer overwhelming strength compared to everything else in DC comics? Was it their ability to utilize the plot itself as a weapon? Was it the fact that they won, and that everything the heroes had done was for naught? That they wanted us to abandon all hope? That the multiverse was inevitably doomed? That we shall all rejoice in anguish together?
