I used to hate the median bias but the rise of the alt left and alt right are making it very difficult for reasonable people to call themselves anything other than "moderate liberal" or "moderate conservative".
I believe in environmentalism, labor unions, universal health care, tuition free college, equality between all races, religions and the two genders, and I believe in control (to an extent).
And yet so many people think I'm a radical conservative simply because I hate BLM, I'm firmly against racial quotas, I call Islamic terrorism "Islamic terrorism", I think safe spaces are for pussies, I think feminists whining about manspreading should visit Saudi Arabia, I think people who use the term "undocumented immigrants" should spend a few months in Mexico (besides Mexico city) and that white people can be discriminated against.
So that's why being moderate in the year 2017 (I mean, come on) takes more spine than it did in 1997. And I didn't even list off the alt-right insanity about Jews and lizards and other bullshit.
