>>90895448The implication seems to be that the Scotsman's sword is, at the least, functionally indestructible. Jack's sword is supposed to be actually indestructible, while also being a very, very sharp wedge (forged by the minions of three hero-gods, so it better be fucking sharp).
Jack's sword should have properties that would overwhelm the Scotsman's blade, but either his physical muscle is not enough to allow him to, or he'd need to tap into more mystical abilities than he normally does. You can see similar examples when he fights the Ultrabots. He needs a power arm to cut through the... adamantium of the Ultrabots, or he needs to take a few seconds to collect his chi, and deliver a blow with literally all of his strength, to break through.
To put it another way, Scotsman's sword was, likely, enchanted by the druid of his clan, or at the least a similar entity. Jack's sword was forged by three mountain mystics who channeled the power of three hero-gods to shape the purity of the human spirit into a weapon to specifically defeat Aku.
Jack's sword has WAY more narrative weight to it.
