(And yeah, Lee promoted Kirby's name too, at least until Kirby left, but obviously not as much as he promoted himself. Took him until 1966 to agree to Kirby's request that he drop the separate writer and artist credits and just write "by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby," which at least hinted at Kirby's plot contributions)
