Just not another Bat-character. They have too many characters with too many interesting powers and abilities to keep using the street-level Batman characters.

Plus I don't follow the Injustice comics much but shouldn't a lot of the weaker people be dead in this universe by now? TWO should be about the more powerful characters who survived the massacre of one.

I assumed that by shaders they meant it was something you selected seperate from gear. Like you pick a premier skin and it just covers up your loadout with that skin but keeps the stats intact.

Eh not really. Manta has more than enough unique weapons to justify getting his own spot. Not to mention he seems like a good fit for the gear system so having him be a static skin would be a bit of a waste. Orm would be a perfect fit for an Aquaman skin though.

Cyborg is more of a plot device than a character, he's only there to stand in the background and occasionally spout techno exposition, hack something or make a portal.

Every couple of issues someone realizes he hasn't done anything for a while and we get a "Cyborg is sad over not being completely human anymore" page.

Babs and Kate were activating the portal to bring over the good universe heroes while Bats distracted Supes. Supes eventually caught on that something was up and busted in on the girls just as they were finishing up. Kate was vaporized by Supes but the teleporter had already activated and scattered all the regime/insurgency members to different places in the world in addition to bringing over the alternate universe heroes. I'm not a huge Jon Stewart fan but I certainly prefer him over Cyborg. If J'onn counts as black then he's certainly the best, otherwise I don't know. Maybe this is why we're stuck with Cyborg, there aren't any good black characters.

Manta is probably the coolest black character but he's so irredeemably evil that you could never have him on the JL unless it was all a plot to fuck with Aquaman.

IMO Superman/Batman/WW/GL/Flash/Aquaman/MMH is the best JL lineup. They all bring something to the table with their background and have a semi-unique combat role (WW and Aquaman probably having the most overlap). I feel like when you put Cyborg in the mix he takes Batman's tech niche and now Batman is either useless or there's some retarded writing where he's punching Darkseid in the face. If DC really wants a black guy I am a-okay with scenes of J'onn in human form doing things.

J'onn's human disguise being black always seemed like a decent compromise to me but for whatever reason that doesn't seem to count as having an actual black guy on the team. And I don't get why that wouldn't work. In a comic it shouldn't really matter and for adaptations there would be black actors playing him so him being an alien shouldn't change anything.

See the thing is, they only get it over their DC redesigns.
Their MK designs are some top tier shit 90% of the time, especially in MK9 and kind of in MKX, their robotics and cyborgs especially so.

But im shocked that they can pull it off not once, but twice, and yet the only other good designs Cyborg has ever had were the Teen Titans cartoon, DCYou, and his Rebirth one.

Its like nobody understands how to make a good design or make it look like a cybernetic organism instead of halfmask shitty war machine

My main problem with NRS designs? Lately they put no color in their MK stuff. You look at X and everything is some shade of brown, black or color with a dirt look that barely stan out. And that's the classic characters. New ones, specially in the good side, are just dark.

It was a small beta I doubt servers were under high pressure at any point.
I see what benefits it has but maybe having it in March would have been better time slot.
Leaves 2 months open for fixing and some improvements could have been done to make gear/skills seem more appealing.

This isn't the same Cyborg. Those people were not his friends when they went against Superman. You can't use the friend logic anymore in Injustice when everyone has to choose a side. They'd easily fit the same body type. Freeze has worn less bulky armor before and the helmet would work fine since they gave Joker that Red Hood alt in the first game which is the same shape. And he would be the most pointless addition as a separate character. If they were gonna do two ice characters in the base game they'd bring back Killer Frost as one of them instead of doing to guys with ice guns. Those extra slots are likely both for eventual DLC. Freeze being there would throw the whole thing off balance with 39 slots on the select screen once every character gets added.

They answer the question at 5:30 here. It's still really unclear. He specifies that the gear will still work with the skins on but doesn't say if you can still see the gear. I guess we'll have to wit and see them in the game to know for sure how they actually work.

I think you're right about the cowl (and I have no idea what else it would be besides a weird beetle helmet).

I'm leaning towards the second cape being Black Adam's because of the black/gold and the lightning bolt pattern but we'll have to see. I'd welcome a caped Adam, I wasn't a huge fan of his design in the first game.

I sincerely hope Robin can uses staffs in some way. I really do think they're staffs, they don't look at all like bows. I don't know who else would possibly use staffs, there's like a 0% chance Nightwing is in the game given the leak and fact that we already have Robin.

Also I'm pretty sure I see Joker teeth behind the left Cyborg arm, so the bomb is probably his too.
