>>89146301>Barry is a legitmate retard who forgets how to use his powers when the plot demands itHave any examples?
>He needs a room full of people to scream "Run faster!" in his earpieceThe only person who routinely gave him that advice was Wellsobard, who was conditioning him as for his own malicious intent. It was a speedster coaching another (rookie) speedster. The advice he gets from his gallery these days are technical advice, or POV advice as Barry rarely sees the bigger, clearer picture from the thick of the fight. It's Joe and Iris telling him to be careful and level headed. It's Cisco advising him to take advantage of electronic hazards or near by opportunities based off of futuristic tech. It's Caitlin advising him of his biological condition and or that of the meta he's facing. It's HR pushing him to think outside the box and do other things than just goesfast.
It's rarely - "run faster!"
>Barry's forensic background/ability is practically nonexistentExcept for all the times this season he cut off Malfoy and took control of the meta crime scenes, or the elaborate conspiracy he was building around his mother's death. Forensic specialists are not detectives, if you're expecting some Batman level deduction skill from a young CSI you're tripping.
>Every season basically boils down to "evil speedster"Er... yeah. You're right about that one, unfortunately.
>Barry still fucks around with the timeline even though on multiple occasions its been proven to be a bad ideaIt's called a character flaw. If you lived a fucked up life and the power to change it instantly you would, or maybe you wouldn't. It's a decision we see Barry struggle with and it makes him human, more relatable.
>Several characters are just completely forgottenLike?
>We need to make Caitlin relevantShe's pretty relevant, what with her being Killer Frost and all. I admit it took forever for her to be more than a mouthpiece, but she's definitely in a good direction now.
