>>88937924>>88938110On /v/, they have console-tan threads. When the Switch was revealed, people rushed to make Switch-tans, and after a while, there was a clear winner favored by the vast majority of posters.
Being butthurt that they couldn't strongarm the majority into rolling over and giving them their way, these users spent over two months straight making threads as unusable as possible out of spite. One or two artists even kept drawing the versions of the character that people hadn't favored.
Do you know what happened?
The design that was originally favored by the community stayed the favored choice, and thr other designs became so reviled that people who posted the others were chased off as obvious shitposters, and thr artists who drew them became persona non grata in the community.
I'm telling this because I see all the exact same things happening here- shitposters attempting to disrupt an existing status quo, entitled "artists" attempting to carve themselves a niche by laying claim to something, babies triggered by something they feel offends them...
No person has ever entered a thread and said "why don't we change everything about (thread topic)?" in good faith, so there is no point in humoring posts like this which are obviously intended to stir up trouble in one way or another, especially calls for or attempts to create a "new" -tan.
It's simply not going to happen.
