In any case, yeah I've known "nerds" of all types, good looking, goofy looking, thin, fit, fat....in reality there isn't any real status quo. I think the biggest thing that might be kind of telling is your hipster type "nerds", because these type of people are usually narcissists in general and see most things and interests as being little more than an accessory that they feel makes them seem more interesting to others.....pretty much every "fake geek" I've actually met also someone you might describe as being a hipster
