Pre-flashpoint DC was better.

When I first got into comics 2 years ago, I started with various New52 titles, like Batman, 'Tec, Justice League and Action Comics. I thought, and I guess I still think, they're pretty good. Later, about a year in, I had read all of New52 Batman, Action Comics and Justice League, with a bit of Flash, Earth-2 and other bits and pieces.

Since then, I went back and read a lot of Pre-flashpoint comics, namely, Geoff Johns JSA and Green Lantern, Morrison's Batman and JLA and some 'Tec by Dini. Various Superman stories by various writers, mostly Kelly, Johns, Flash by Waid, Morrison and Johns, Power Girl by Palmiotti and then Winnick. I've loved most of these series, but above all, all of these made me realize how stale, empty and outright boring the New52 is in comparison.

There are a lot of good stories from the New52, but boy did they fuck up the timeline royally, and getting rid of the JSA and other characters being relegated to Earth-2 and shit.

Just what the fuck were they thinking?
