I finally remember what made Adventure Time so great, it felt like a selfbrew tabletop game that didn't take itself seriously and the story had gotten way out of hand. Something as simple as trying to take care of an unknown being (Jigglers) end up with it literally exploding after having every hold plug up with eyeballs and eyepatches. Now it is just a fucking cartoon trying way too fucking hard to be 2deep4u. I never wanted Adventure Time to be an actual story, I just want it to be a collection of short stories like how Courage the Cowardly Dog was.

I don't think finn was ever a god though? I always saw that catalyst comet thing as it being responsible for a lot of the life forms that were around with humans. Finn is just some of the last remaining legacy of that catalyst comet, since life has mostly been replaced by other, weirder forms

No one's gonna deny that was dumb but it was less Finn being a god and more Finn got lucky and the comet gave him the option of being a god but he refused.

Or something like that, I still don't fully get it myself but Finn for sure is just a slightly abnormal human and not a deity or some shit.
